Durgapur gangrape horror: Police take five accused to crime spot for reconstruction
All five accused in the Durgapur medical student gangrape case were taken to the crime spot on Tuesday for the reconstruction of the events, media reports said.

According to media reports, they were taken to the crime spot located in a jungle, adjacent to Paranaganj Kali Bari cremation ground.
Officials told NDTV that the reconstruction is a crucial step in the probe, aimed at piecing together the roles of the arrested individuals and gathering vital evidence related to the case.
The spot is located close to the gates of the private medical college where the victim studied.
The police arrested two more accused in the case on Monday.
“All five accused have been arrested and taken into custody,” a senior police official at Durgapur told The Hindu.
The accused, who were identified as Sheikh Safiqul, a local of Durgapur; Sheikh Nasiruddin, Sheikh Reajuddin, Firdos Sheikh and Apu Bauri, have been sent to 10-day police custody.
One of the arrested individuals previously worked as a security guard in a private medical college.
According to reports, the victim has shared details of the assault with the doctor who treated her.
India Today quoted her saying in the statement: "We noticed that they were leaving their vehicle and coming towards us. We started running towards the forest. Then those three people came running after us, caught me, and dragged me into the forest."
"They grabbed me from behind, took my phone and told me to call my friend. When he didn't come, they forced me to lie down. When I screamed, they said if I make noise, they will call more men and they would do it too. So just let me do it," she told the doctor.
Durgapur Horror
Officials said a 23-year-old student from Jaleswar in Odisha, studying at IQ City Medical College in Durgapur’s Shivapur area, was allegedly raped after being taken to a deserted spot about a kilometre from the campus on Friday night.
The woman had gone out with a male friend when a group of men approached them near the college gate, took her away, and raped her before fleeing.
