Police arrest singing icon Zubeen Garg's Manager, Singapore Event Organiser
Police on Wednesday arrested North East India Festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta and Zubeen Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma over the death of the Assamese singer in Singapore last month.

Amid tight security, Mahanta, who was detained in Singapore, was first brought to Delhi before being flown to Assam.
Sharma was arrested from a Gurugram flat.
He will also be taken to Guwahati, police sources told India Today.
Reacting to the development, Garg's wife Garima told The Assam Tribune: “I want the police to get all the details out of them. Now that the investigation is on, we are hoping the facts will come to light and the law will take its course."
The 52-year-old singing icon tragically passed away while swimming in the sea without a life jacket.
His sudden demise has left an irreplaceable void in the Indian music industry and in the hearts of millions of fans.
