Two-days Assembly session starts from Friday

The two days long eighth session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly will begin on Friday (September 19) and continue up to September 23 and during the two days session along with the question-answer session, four important bills will be tabled during the session.
During the Business Advisory Meeting (BAC) meeting, which was held on Monday last in the conference hall of the Assembly, the BAC decided that the session is set to begin on September 19 and continue until September 23.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the eight sessions of the present Assembly would be held on September 19 and September 23. As the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in the state on September 22 for a government programme, the schedules of assembly reserved for September 22 have been shifted to September 23.
The schedule of the session was finalized in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC)meeting presided over by Assembly deputy speaker with several ministers, ruling party MLAs in participation of MLAs of Tipra-Motha, CPI(M) and Congress, he added.
With only two sittings, the first day of the session would have question hour and four Bills will be placed and the session has been minimized due to ensuing festivities of Durga Puja, said Nath.
On the last of the session (September 23) the discussion on four Bills, private member resolutions and question hours replies would be placed in the House, added Nath.
