Agartala: Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited has invited a national-level e-tender for the implementation and support of an advanced software solution aimed at modernizing power procurement planning, dispatch optimization, scheduling, trading, and data analytics in the state power sector.
The project is being undertaken under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) sponsored by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, with a funding pattern of 90:10 between the Government of India and TSECL/Government of Tripura.
According to the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT), the estimated value of the project is ₹7,27,42,500 excluding GST. The selected bidder will be responsible for the implementation and long-term operational support of the software platform over a total period of 60 months, including an 8-month implementation phase and 45 months of post go-live support.

- Dispatch Optimization
- Automated Scheduling
- Power Trading
- Data Analytics and Reporting
TSECL stated that the initiative aims to strengthen operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making in the power distribution sector through advanced digital technologies.

The bidding process will be conducted through the National Open Competitive Procurement method under a single-stage two-envelope bidding system via the government e-procurement portal.
Officials informed that the project forms part of Tripura’s broader efforts to modernize the electricity distribution network and improve power management through digital transformation initiatives under RDSS.
