Inaugurating the pavilion, US Consul General Melinda Pavek said, "With this pavilion, we aim to highlight what the United States is doing with its partners to address the climate change and the climate crisis, and what we are doing as well as how we can make a difference in what's happening with the climate."

"The United States in India have mutually committed to combating climate change through our collaborations. We are working together to solve the problems that have been created in the world so we have a better future — that is what #PlanetUS is all about," she added.

"We also recognize that we can solve the problems that are created with the ideas of the past. One of the most important ways that we can figure out new solutions and new approaches to combat the challenge," the Consulate General said.
