Tension gripped the area as eyewitnesses said a sudden blast disrupted an otherwise steady voting process.

Trinamool Congress MP Abu Taher Khan alleged that workers of the Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP), led by Humayun Kabir, were behind the attack.
