New Delhi, Oct 7: Reliance Jio is showcasing a range of home-grown, AI-first technologies at India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, highlighting India’s growing transition from a consumer of technology to a creator, innovator and exporter of advanced digital solutions.
Under the theme of taking India’s technology to the world, Jio is demonstrating innovations developed to address the country’s unique challenges of scale, diversity and connectivity. The company said these technologies have been built and tested in India and are now being designed for deployment across global markets.
The showcase brings together solutions spanning satellite connectivity, autonomous networks, education, enterprise technology, AI-powered wearables and smart homes.
Sovereign satellite connectivity
Jio’s sovereign Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation is envisioned to extend digital connectivity beyond the reach of terrestrial networks. The system is designed to provide secure, low-latency and carrier-grade broadband connectivity across land, sea and air.
Jio said the technology has the potential to position India as a provider of resilient, sovereign and cost-effective space connectivity for telecom operators, governments, enterprises and citizens worldwide.
From adopting standards to shaping them
Jio is also highlighting its growing role in global telecommunications standardisation through participation in organisations such as 3GPP and TM Forum.
According to the company, its home-grown research and development is contributing to high-value patents, Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), Open APIs, AI-native network frameworks and next-generation telecommunications technologies.
Telecom technologies built and tested in India
Jio is showcasing an end-to-end telecom technology stack developed and battle-tested on Indian networks. The company said these technologies are now ready for global deployment and could offer operators and enterprises, particularly in emerging markets, cost-effective alternatives to established global vendors.
The initiative is also expected to create new opportunities for India to emerge as a credible exporter of telecom equipment and software.
AI-powered autonomous networks
Jio is demonstrating AI-native autonomous networks capable of predicting network issues, optimising operations and automatically resolving problems.
The company said its AI-native network stack can be deployed as a turnkey solution by global telecom operators seeking to reduce operational expenditure and improve network resilience. The system is backed by operational experience gained from managing one of the world’s largest telecom networks.
Jio Education Stack
Jio Education Stack is an AI-powered digital ecosystem designed to bring students, teachers, parents and school administrators onto a unified platform.
The solution enables schools to adopt smart-learning capabilities using existing devices. It offers personalised AI-powered learning, digital content, intelligent administration and real-time analytics, with the aim of making advanced educational tools accessible to schools and students at scale.
AI-powered wearables
Jio is also showcasing AI-powered wearable technologies aimed at applications ranging from scan-and-pay payments and healthcare to workplace safety and connected communities.
The company said the devices are designed to simplify everyday activities while improving safety, connectivity and access to digital services at population scale.
Integrated enterprise platform
Jio’s AI-powered Enterprise Stack combines connectivity, cloud, artificial intelligence and digital capabilities on a single integrated platform.
The platform is designed to support both horizontal business applications and industry-specific solutions across sectors including retail, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, energy, healthcare and government.
JioAIHome
JioAIHome is designed to bring AI-powered intelligence into the home through a natural and intuitive user experience.
The system is intended to understand and adapt to users’ needs, with artificial intelligence operating in the background to deliver more personalised, seamless and connected experiences.
Through its IMC 2026 showcase, Jio is positioning these technologies as examples of how solutions developed for India’s scale and complexity can be adapted for global markets, reinforcing the country’s emerging role as a developer and exporter of digital and AI-driven technology.
