Lok Sabha poll result: Modi leads in Varanasi, Rahul Gandhi in both Rae Bareli and Wayanad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi constituency as the counting of the votes in the Lok Sabha polls is underway on Tuesday.
Modi is taking on Congress' Ajay Rai from the seat.
Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi, who contested from Kerala's Wayanad and Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli, is leading from the seat.
The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 were held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1.
As per the initial trends, the BJP-led NDA is leading in over 200 seats while the opposition camp, INDIA, is struggling at around 140 seats.
However, these trends are initial and coming from the postal ballots.
