The couple shared the news through photographs from an intimate ceremony attended by close family members in Ranthambore.
The first photograph shows Raihan and Aviva standing together during the evening celebration in traditional Indian attire.
Raihan wore a dark sherwani, while Aviva chose an embellished sari. Another image shared by the couple shows them as children in traditional outfits, highlighting their long-standing bond.
The engagement ceremony was attended by family members from both sides, including Aviva’s parents, Imran and Nandita Baig, and her brother Riyan. Robert Vadra was also present at the event.
According to NDTV's sources, Raihan, 25, proposed to Aviva last week in the presence of both families, and she accepted.
The couple has been together for around seven years, and the wedding is expected to take place in the coming months.
Aviva Baig comes from a Delhi-based family. Her father, Imran Baig, is a businessman, while her mother, Nandita Baig, is an interior designer and a long-standing friend of Priyanka Gandhi.
Aviva studied at Modern School, Delhi, and completed her higher education in Media Communication and Journalism at OP Jindal Global University.
She is also an interior designer, photographer, and producer.
Raihan Vadra, an alumnus of The Doon School, followed in the educational footsteps of his grandfather, Rajiv Gandhi, and uncle Rahul Gandhi.
He later pursued higher studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. Professionally, Raihan is a visual artist whose work spans photography, including wildlife, street, and commercial projects, and has been featured at Mumbai’s contemporary gallery, APRE Art House.
The engagement marks a significant moment for the Vadra-Gandhi family, as the couple prepares for their wedding in the coming months.
