The advisory came after Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed a series of attacks targeting Saudi airports and other strategic facilities.
'Remain alert, stay indoors': Embassy
The embassy asked Indian nationals to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary movement in view of the prevailing situation.
It also urged citizens not to circulate or repost videos or news related to the ongoing events, stressing the importance of relying on official sources for information.
The Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, along with their outsourced services through VFS, continue to function normally, the advisory said.

24x7 helpline available for Indians
The embassy also said its Pravasi Bharatiya Sahayata Kendra (PBSK) helpline remains operational around the clock.
Indian nationals requiring assistance can contact the toll-free number 8002471234 within Saudi Arabia.
Air India, IndiGo cancel Riyadh flights
The advisory came as Air India, IndiGo and Air India Express suspended flights to and from Riyadh until October 10, citing the worsening security situation.
Affected passengers have been offered complimentary rescheduling or a full refund, depending on their preference.
Houthis issue 'last warning' to airlines
The Houthi group earlier warned international airlines against operating in Saudi airspace, describing the region as a theatre for its military operations.
The group has repeatedly claimed attacks against Saudi airports, military facilities and oil installations in recent days, citing Saudi Arabia's support for the United States.
Riyadh Airport issues passenger advisory
King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh also urged passengers to check directly with their airlines before travelling to the airport after multiple explosions were reported over the Saudi capital.
Saudi officials said attacks claimed by the Houthis on the Riyadh and Abha airports on Wednesday killed three people.
The reported deaths mark the first fatalities since Saudi Arabia and allied Yemeni forces launched a major ground and air offensive against the rebels.
