NFR extends periodicity of two pairs of special trains

Guwahati: To clear extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to extend the periodicity & services of two pairs of special trains i.e. no. 05638/05637(Silchar – Naharlagun - Silchar) and train no. 05628/ 05627 (Agartala - Guwahati - Agartala), both for 26 trips each in both directions. These trains will operate with the existing schedule of service, timings, composition and stoppages.
Train No. 05638 (Silchar – Naharlagun) weekly special will depart from Silchar at 13:10 hours on every Monday from 7th April, 2025 to 29th September, 2025 to reach Naharlagun at 08:40 hours next day. Similarly, train no. 05637(Naharlagun - Silchar) weekly special will depart from Naharlagun at 10:00 hours every Tuesday from 8th April, 2025 to 30th September, 2025 to reach Silchar at 05:20 hours next day.
Train no. 05628 (Agartala - Guwahati) weekly special will depart from Agartala at 19:00 hours every Thursday from 3rd April, 2025 to 25th September, 2025 to reach its destination Guwahati at 08:45hours the next day. Similarly, train no. 05627 (Guwahati - Agartala) weekly special will depart from Guwahati at 13:15 hours on every Friday from 4th of April, 2025 to 26th September, 2025 to reach its destination Agartala at 04:10 hours next day.
The details of routes, stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and social media platforms of N. F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their train journeys.
