Rachin Ravindra's responsible 112 helps New Zealand beat Bangladesh by five wickets in Champions Trophy clash, Pakistan knocked out
Rachin Ravindra played a responsible knock of 112 runs to pull New Zealand out of a tough situation and beat Bangladesh by five wickets in a Champions Trophy match here on Monday.

After restricting Bangladesh to 236 runs for the loss of nine wickets, New Zealand lost quick wickets early in the innings but slowly recovered by riding on Ravindra's knock to reach the winning target of 240 runs by losing five wickets with 23 balls to spare.
New Zealand's win knocked out Pakistan, the hosts of the Champions Trophy, and Bangladesh from the tournament.
Pakistan, who lost both their opening games against New Zealand and then India, was surviving on a slim chance of reaching the last four stage if Bangladesh defeated the Kiwis on Monday and India defeated the same team in their last match.
India and New Zealand qualified for the semi-final from Group A.
Tom Latham (55) and Devon Conway (30) were the other top scorers for Kiwis.
Taskin Ahmed provided Bangladesh with an immediate breakthrough by dismissing Will Young (0). New Zealand plunged into more trouble after Kane Williamson (5) was removed by Nahid Rana, leaving the Kiwis struggling at 2-15.
Mustafizur Rahman later dismissed Conway to break the partnership stitched with Ravindra.
Rishad Hossain picked up another wicket for Bangladesh.
Earlier, Michael Bracewell took four wickets to help New Zealand restrict Bangladesh to 236 runs.
Skipper Michael Bracewell remained the top scorer for Bangladesh with his 77 runs knock.
