A couple and a youth commit suicide in Bishalgarh, Teliamura
In two separate incidents, one couple commits suicide issuing family disputes and in another incident one youth committed suicide by consuming poison after he was rejected by his paramour.
Police sources said that after brief brawl among husband-wife, one Ruma Das Biswas (27) of Bishalgarh area under Sepahijala district consumed poison on Tuesday last and she was admitted to GB Hospital in critical condition and after battling for life for last five days, she breathe her last on Sunday.
After her death, her physically disabled husband in house at Bishalgarh committed suicide by hanging himself.
While, police registereing unnatural death case started investigation to find out the reason behind suicide of the couple. Their death has cast a shadow of deep grief and mourning in Bishalgarh area.
In another incident, a youth from Nayanpur village of Tripura, who used to stay in a rented house in Agartala for his driving profession on Saturday returned back to his house after rejection from his paramour.
On Sunday morning, Litan Biswas (26) in front of his wife and other family members consumed pesticide as he was suffering mental distress due to rejection from a lady in Agartala. Immediately, he was shifted to Teliamura hospital and in critical condition was referred to GB Hospital. But, on the way to hospital, Litan Biswas breathed his last.
After his tragic death, the wife of the victim youth has registered a complaint before police against one Rekha Biswas of Chandrapur area of Agartala on abetment of suicide charges.
Police sources said that they have registered the complaint and started an investigation.
