Abducted Indian citizen safely return home from Bangladesh
The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) handed over Indian national Challa Fru Mog to BSF in the presence of Immigration and police officials of India and Bangladesh on Friday.
On Thursday (September 19) Mrs Swapna Mog, wife of Challa Fru Mog resident of Mogpara, Radhanagar under P R Bari police station of South Tripura district visited Border out post (BOP) Belonia and approached BSF company Commander regarding abduction of her husband in Bangladesh.
BSF of Tripura Frontier through a press statement said that responding with alacrity to the grievance of Mrs Swapna Mog, BSF approached BGB at the appropriate level. BSF and BGB acted in tandem displaying synergy which ensured the safe and timely return of Challa Fru Mog.
The prompt and effective action by BSF has been widely appreciated by border population. BSF is steadfast in its commitment to safeguard the interests of the border population.
