Agartala city police handed over 6-stolen motorbikes to owners in a week
The Agartala city police again on Friday y handed over three stolen motorbikes to its actual owners after these bikes were recovered from thieves.
Giving details of OC of East Agartala police station, Rana Chatterjee said that after receiving different complaints of theft in different areas under their police station, they registered specific complaints.
Based on the complaints, during investigation, police managed to arrest thieves involved with many stolen incidents including motorbike lifting, chain snatching and theft of mobile phones.
During interrogation of arrested thieves, police had also recovered stolen items and based on the order of the court, the East Agartala police station on Friday handed over three stolen bikes to its actual owners, said Chatterjee.
He said that three motorbike owners expressed their happiness after getting their stolen bikes.
While, police said that soon after receiving any information related to theft, they swung into action and most of the times; they managed to recover stolen items and handed over these to its actual owners after court order.
It may be recalled here that on July 12 last, the new capital complex police of Agartala city has also handed over three stolen motorbikes, three mobile sets and a high valued gold chain to its actual owners after these items were recovered from thieves.
