AR organizes weapon display for NCC cadets
Assam Rifles organized ‘Weapon Display’ for NCC cadets of 71(I) NCC Company at Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel in Agartala on Saturday.
Assam Rifles through a press stamen said that the event was conducted with an aim to increase awareness amongst the cadets about the role and duties of India Armed Forces and the weapons used by them. The event was successful in generating interest amongst the young cadets with respect to joining Armed Forces and serve the nation.
The cadets asked various queries about the weapons which were answered by personnels of Assam Rifles. A total of 504 cadets including 291 male and 313 female cadets participated in the event. The event was appreciated by the cadets of the NCC battalion. They expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organizing the event.
