Assam Rifles celebrates 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm
Assam Rifles celebrated the 79ᵗʰ Independence Day on 15 August 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour across Tripura and regions of Assam and Manipur. The celebrations included ceremonial March Past, stirring Band Displays, Flag Hoisting ceremonies, cultural programmes, and Wreath Laying to honour the brave souls who made the supreme sacrifice.
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers, JCOs, ORs, school children, and teachers, with over a thousand youth joining the celebrations.
Patriotic songs, cultural performances, blood donation camp, extra-curricular activities for children and motivational addresses instilled pride and unity among participants.
The occasion served as a solemn reminder of the hard-earned freedom and responsibilities that come with it, inspiring all to uphold the values of freedom, unity and national integration. Assam Rifles, through such initiatives, continues to strengthen its bonds with the people while reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty of the nation.
