Assam Rifles conducts outreach programmes at tribal schools in Tripura
As part of its outreach and tribal engagement initiatives, Assam Rifles at Radhanagar organised an interactive career awareness programme at Demdum Higher Secondary School and Panchamnagar Higher Secondary School on January 29 and Joyganti Public School on January 30, 2026.
The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students with a significant presence of youth from tribal communities. During the interactions, students were briefed on avenues of higher education, sports career and future employment prospects. Special emphasis was laid on career options in Defence Forces, including entry as officers, recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme and opportunities in Central Armed Police Forces through SSC GD examination.
The programmes encouraged active interaction with students seeking guidance on eligibility criteria, preparation strategies and long-term career prospects.
Through these outreach efforts, Assam Rifles reaffirmed its commitment towards empowering tribal youth, fostering awareness and facilitating their integration into the national mainstream.
