Assam Rifles organized cycle rally under ‘Fit India’ to promote sports culture
In a vibrant push to promote fitness and sports as part of a healthy lifestyle, Assam Rifles organised a Cycle Rally under the Khelo India Scheme's Fit India initiative on 28 July 2025.
A total of 92 civilians from various age groups enthusiastically participated in the event, which covered a distance of 20 kilometres. The rally was flagged off from Radhanagar, traversing through scenic routes and spreading a strong message on physical well-being and active living.
The event was aimed at inspiring the youth to adopt sports as a career, while also highlighting the crucial role fitness plays in building a healthy and resilient society. The enthusiastic participation by civilians, including students, youth, and elderly, showcased the deep-rooted spirit of community and wellness.
Through this initiative, Assam Rifles reaffirmed its dedication to national health missions and its role as a torchbearer of social awareness and youth empowerment across North East.
