Assam Rifles organizes friendly T-20 cricket match with Fatikroy locals
Assam Rifles organized a friendly T-20 cricket match with locals of Fatikroy under Unakot district of Tripura on Saturday.
The initiative was aimed at strengthening bonds between security forces and civilians while providing a platform for locals to showcase their talent and choose sports over the menace of drugs, which continue to plague Tripura.
The match drew enthusiastic participation from local youth, who showcased their talent and played with full zeal and enthusiasm. The vibrant atmosphere reflected unity, teamwork and the spirit of healthy competition, bridging the gap between civilians and the security forces.
Assam Rifles officials highlighted the importance of such engagements in motivating the youth to channel their energy into constructive pursuits. They reiterated the Force’s commitment to not only safeguarding the region but also supporting community development and fighting the menace of drug abuse through constructive outreach.
