Assam Rifles organized a weapon display demonstration for the cadets of 13th Tripura Battalion NCC on October 30, 2025 at the premises of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel, Agartala. The event was conducted on the occasion of NCC Day.
The aim of the event was to enhance the cadets’ knowledge about military equipment and to inspire them to take keen interest in the defence services. The display showcased a wide array of infantry weapons and tactical equipments presently in service with Assam Rifles. The cadets were given detailed briefings on the weapons and witnessed live demonstrations, providing them valuable first hand exposure.
A total of 277 boys and girls cadets enthusiastically participated in the event. Their keen engagement and curiosity reflected their commitment towards learning and their growing interest in serving the nation.
This initiative is part of Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to promote youth development, defence awareness and patriotic values. Such outreach programmes help in further strengthening the bonds between Armed Forces and the civilian community, particularly the youth who are the future of the nation.
