Bank manager physically tortured simultaneously by police and miscreants, seek protection
In a bizarre incident, a branch manager of State Bank of India (SBI) of Jolaibari branch under South Tripura district was manhandled and physically, mentally tortured by miscreants as well as by police without any provocation.
Sources said that the SBI manager was first physically tortured by police inside the police station, later he was manhandled by a group of miscreants twice and after escaping from his life, somehow he managed to reach his home at Agartala with several injuries.
Sources said that SBI branch manager Abhishek Chakraborty on Thursday evening returned back to his rented house from his Jolaibari SBI branch with a motorbike of his colleague. When their motorbike reached near the Santirbazar branch of SBI, police stopped their bike and forcefully took him into their custody. Police brought him first to the police station and after medical checkup at the district hospital, again brought him to the police station and subsequently released him.
Whien, Abhishek Chakraborty moves towards his rented house by walking and all of sudden, a group of miscreants halted his way and physically tortured him. When he managed to escape from their clutches and moved towards his rented house, another group of miscreants attacked him again.
Amidst such terrible conditions, the bank manager with the help of his driver escaped from his life and reached his Agartala home in the same night.
When our reporter asked why he didn't lodge a police complaint, terrified Abhishek reply when the police handed over to him in the clutches of miscreants, how can he file a complaint?
Insucured and mentally disturbed Abhishek also told that miscreants had also threatened him with dire consequences against his wife and kid. He appealed for protection of his family.
