BJP to hold statewide social work to mark PM Modi’s 75th Birthday: CM
Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that various social activities will be organized across the state on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. Along with this, the birthdays of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi will also be celebrated.
Dr. Saha said this at a meeting organized at the Pradesh Office of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Agartala.
Participating in the meeting, Dr. Saha said, “September 17 is the birthday of our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Bharatiya Janata Party celebrates the Prime Minister's birthday in a special way, with various service activities. This year, Prime Minister Modi is turning 75. Every year, the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ program is organized, but this year, special activities will be held to commemorate the Prime Minister's 75th birthday.”
He added that in particular, what PM Modi achieved during his 13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat, as well as his lifelong contributions to the people, will be highlighted.
“What he has done for the country at different stages of his life, including his childhood and youth, will be emphasized. Various activities will be organized to showcase the way he is working for the nation and for the state,” said Dr. Saha.
The Chief Minister further said, “We have another important program on September 25 to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay. Additionally, on October 2, the birthday of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, will be celebrated. The philosophies and life lessons of such eminent personalities will be discussed. On the occasion of the Prime Minister's birthday, various social programs, including the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and voluntary blood donation camps, will be organized in the city and across the state. Besides these, fairs, exhibitions, and other programs based on the Prime Minister's biography will also be held.”
The meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party State President Rajib Bhattacharya, Assam and Tripura (Organization) General Secretary Ravindra Raju, MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, Tripura Pradesh General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, Bhagaban Das, and other senior leaders.
