BSF in Tripura foiled attempts of infiltration and smuggling

Adopting Non Lethal strategy BSF troops under Tripura Frontier successfully foiled several attempts of infiltration and smuggling.                                            

In significant joint operations with Srinagar police station under South Tripura district, BSF troops seized sunglasses , Burmese cigarettes  worth ₹ 1.8 crore .

In other operations along the Indo Bangladesh border Cannabis, codeine based syrups and other contrabands were also seized.

 Border Security Force remains committed to maintain vigil along the border and to prevent illegal activities along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
