Chief Minister interacts with beneficiaries of Central, State sponsored schemes

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha actively participated in various programs during his visit to the South District on Friday.

Alongside administrative tasks, he engaged in meaningful conversations with beneficiaries of several developmental projects initiated by both the Central Government and the State Government. While these projects have brought numerous advantages, they also have certain disadvantages. Moreover, the Chief Minister provided valuable instructions to the administration officials during his visit.

One of the destinations on the Chief Minister's itinerary was Chagrapara in Sindhukpathar village, located under the Santchand block of the South District. Accompanied by officials from the administration, CM Dr. Saha interacted with beneficiaries of various projects implemented by the central and state governments. The discussions covered a wide range of issues, allowing the Chief Minister to gain insights into the impact of these initiatives.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister made a special visit to the residences of beneficiaries who had been allotted houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This initiative aims to provide affordable housing to those in need.

Throughout the exchange of views with beneficiaries, MLA Mylaphru Mog, Swapna Majumdar, Chief Minister's Office Secretary PK Chakraborty, South District Deputy Commissioner Saju Waheed, District Superintendent of Police Kulwant Singh, Satchand Block Officer Anupam Das, and other officials were present, underscoring the collaborative nature of these efforts.

The visit underscored the commitment of the Chief Minister and his administration to evaluate the progress and impact of various developmental projects. By directly interacting with the beneficiaries, they sought to better understand both the advantages and disadvantages of these initiatives.
