Class-8th student commits suicide after being denied mobile recharge payment
In a heartrending incident, one class-eight standard student committed suicide by hanging after he was refused to give amount for mobile recharge by his parents at Jurania Karbari Para village of Karbook under Gomati district on Sunday.
After the tragic incident, the entire Jurania Karbari Para village witnessed a father’s heart-wrenching cry after his son’s tragic end.
Sources said, the deceased, Sukanta Chakma, was addicted to online gaming. When the balance on his mobile phone finished, he asked his mother to recharge it. His mother replied that she would recharge the phone once she got money from her work. This led to the tragedy.
A little while later, locals found Sukanta’s hanging body in a tree near his house. Immediately, family members and neighbours brought him down and shifted him to Natunbazar Hospital, where the attending doctor declared him dead. The body was later sent to the morgue for autopsy.
This heartbreaking death has cast a shadow of grief over the entire area.
