CM participates in cleanliness drive in response to PM Modi's call
Responding to the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep all temples and pilgrimages clean from January 1 to January 22 following the consecration of Ram Mandir, Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha today participated in a cleanliness drive at Jagannath Temple in Agartala.
He also urged the people from all parts of the state to join this program.
Dr Saha said people had been waiting for about 500 years, and finally, the consecration of Ram Mandir is taking place.
“On the occasion of the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I participated in the cleanliness drive at Jagannath Jiu Mandir under Bardowali assembly constituency today. I am making a special appeal to the people from all parts of the state to participate in this great initiative until January 22 to clean various temple areas,” he said. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder and others were present.
