Fatal road mishap at Jolaibari-Belonia road, 3 bike riders died on the spot
In a deadliest and fatal road mishap in recent time, two motorbike riders and a pillion rider after a heavy face on collision in two bikes, all three persons died on the at the National Highway portion of Jolaibari-Belonia under South Tripura district on Wednesday afternoon.
Police sources said that hearing the heavy sound of crashing, local people rushed to the spot and all three persons with multiple injuries and in a pool of blood were lying in the road in unconscious mood.
Immediately, they informed police and firefighters. Later, firefighters shifted all three persons to Jolaibari Hospital, where a visiting doctor declared them brought dead.
Police added that one bike rider, identified as Biplab Shil Sharma (54) of Madhya Pilak area, by professional a wholesale trader of stationary goods was proceeding towards Julaibari with his motorbike from Muhuripur and simultaneously, another motorbike riding by Mukesh Tripura (24) with a pillion rider Prayangshu Datta (22) of Saha Pathar area of West Pilak in heavy speed tried to overtake a paddy straw laden vehicle, but both the motorbike collided face on during their bid to overtake the straw laden vehicle.
As a result, both bikes collided face to face at heavy speed and crashed into pieces, said police, adding that this fatal road mishap is a result of rash and negligent driving by bike riders.
After the incident of fatal road mishap reached their respective locality, a pall gloom descended in Madhya and West Pilak areas.
