Govt offices locked by ruling & alliance supporters in Gandacherra continues
One after one forceful closure of government offices in Raima Valley subdivision of Gandacherra under Dhalai district by some unruly ruling party and their alliance supporters for their petty gains has raised serious questions over the responsibilities of ruling dispersion.
Sources said that on Tuesday and Wednesday last, some supporters of ruling alliance Tipra-Motha had forcefully closed the office of Primitive Group Tribe. Again on Wednesday supporters of ruling BJP and their alliance partner IPFT led by a self-styled leader Khagen Reang all of sudden closed the office of the ADC School Inspector and Sub Divisional Agriculture office and asked all government employees to vacate their office complex.
These alleged ruling supporters then locked these offices till Thursday, which has caused tremendous suffering to local people, who were visiting these offices to get the government services.
Now, local people raise the question why these ruling supporters are closing one after one government offices for their petty personal and political gain and they also ask if they belong to the ruling political dimension, why they are creating disturbance over the government functioning?
