Govt working to ensure administrative facilities for all: CM

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha is committed to ensuring good governance for all the people of the state. With unwavering determination, he recently visited and inspected the office of the Shantirbazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate during his visit to South Tripura district on Friday, emphasizing his dedication to the welfare of the citizens.

During his visit, the Chief Minister personally inquired about the extent to which the common people were benefiting from the administrative efforts.

His genuine concern for the well-being of the populace was evident as he engaged with both the officials and the general public, seeking to understand any challenges they might be facing.

As part of his itinerary, the Chief Minister actively participated in various party and government activities within the district. However, it was his visit to the office of the Shantirbazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate that exemplified his hands-on approach towards improving administrative efficiency and effectiveness.

Accompanied by administrative officials, the Chief Minister meticulously toured each section of the office, taking a keen interest in the ongoing administrative work. By personally engaging with the officials, he aimed to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the office's functioning and identify areas that require attention and improvement.

It is noteworthy that Professor Dr. Manik Saha has made enhancing administrative efficiency a top priority since assuming office as the Chief Minister of Tripura in May 2022. His steadfast commitment to this cause has led him to actively involve himself in monitoring the workflow, ensuring a seamless transfer of responsibilities and accountability from the top levels of administration to the lower tiers.

Later, the Chief Minister Dr Saha on his Facebook wrote, “Today on a visit to South Tripura district, I visited the office of Shantirbazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate and inquired about all matters related to civil services. The current state government is constantly trying to ensure various administrative facilities to the last person of the society.

Shantirbazar MLA Pramod Reang, Chief Minister's Office Secretary PK Chakraborty, Sub-Divisional Magistarte Abhedananda Baidya and other officials were with the Chief Minister while visiting the Sub-Divisional Ruler's office.
