The application process for recruitment to Special Executive posts in the Tripura Police concluded on Wednesday, witnessing a huge turnout of unemployed youths at police stations across the state on the final day of submission.
According to official sources, a total of 6,367 vacant posts will be filled under the recruitment drive. Application forms were collected and submitted offline at the respective police stations.
Candidates who have passed the Madhyamik (Secondary) examination are eligible to apply for the posts. The age limit has been fixed between 21 and 50 years for general category candidates, while SC/ST candidates have been given relaxation up to 55 years.
Selected candidates will receive an honorarium of approximately Rs 13,000 per month. The recruitment will initially be made on a contractual basis for a period of three years.
