Justice Arindam Lodh retires from service, given farewell by Bar Association
The Tripura Bar Association on Tuesday gave a warm farewell to retired High Court Justice Arindam Lodh, who completed his tenure on Monday.
Justice Lodh was born on March 25, 1963 and had secured his B.Sc (pure science) degree from MBB college , Agartala and did his LLB degree from a reputed law college in Calcutta. He is the son of former leading High Court advocate of Tripura, Apangshu Mohan Lodh and as an advocate Arindam Lodh had a flourishing practice in the course of which he also worked as assistant solicitor general and standing counsel for many central organizations in Tripura like the Railway, BSF and other bodies.
He had been elevated as a justice of the High Court of Tripura on May 7, 2018 and passed a number of landmark orders some of which have also been reported. Justice Arindam Lodh retired from service on Monday after attaining the age of superannuation.
The Tripura Bar Association on Tuesday gave a warm farewell to justice Arindam Lodh in the room in presence of Justice Sabyasachi Dutta-Purkayastha and Justice Biswajit Palit. All senior advocates of the High Court including HC Bar were present.
