Longtharai’s “Nagaon Retailers’ Meet 2025” concludes with great enthusiasm

The ‘Nagaon Retailers’ Meet-20025’ of Tripura’s famous spices brand, Longtharai was successfully conducted with great enthusiasm and massive response among retailers of Nagaon of Assam state.
The event was presided over by renowned businessman Gouranga Deb. The chief guest of the occasion was senior journalist of Nagaon, Mr. Kanak Hazarika. The special guest was Mr. Asif Zaman, the Secretary of the North East Distributors Association and owner of Longtharai , Ratan Debnath, General Manager, Subrata Debnath, Zonal Manager Shubhra Ranjan Das, Regional Manager Palash Sarkar, and other officials.
Around 150 retailers, dealers, and distributors participated in the event. Both the chief guest Mr. Hazarika and special guest Mr. Asif Zaman highly praised the initiative of organizing the Retailers’ Meet in Nagaon by Longtharai, a prominent brand from the small hilly state of Tripura in Northeast India, showcasing its diverse product range.
In his speech, Longtharai’s owner Mr. Ratan Debnath presented a detailed and engaging overview of the company’s history. He stated that Longtharai is no longer just a well-known name in Tripura but is becoming a distinguished brand across the entire Northeast. He expressed his hope that within a short time, Longtharai will win the hearts of homemakers in every household. The brand is not limited to spices; it also includes oil, ghee, rice, and about 120 other products. He also mentioned that the demand for Longtharai is steadily growing not only in Tripura but also in Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, and even in the neighboring country of Bangladesh.
Several retailers, during their discussion, praised the quality of Longtharai products and expressed their belief that the brand would soon make a significant impact on the markets of Nagaon. They also pledged to continue working with the Longtharai brand in the days ahead.
General Manager Mr. Subrata Debnath assured the retailers and dealers of full cooperation from the company. Highlighting Longtharai’s excellence in quality, he referred to the recognition received in February by The Times of India, naming Longtharai as the best manufacturer of pure ground spices in Northeast India.
The welcome speech was delivered by Assam’s Regional Sales Manager, Bastab Changkokti. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Zonal Sales Manager Shubhra Ranjan Das.
