In a major administrative reshuffle, the Director General of Tripura police on Wednesday transferred seven officer-in-charges (OCs) including two important police stations including West Agartala and East Agartala.
As per the transfer order issued by Tripura police headquarters on Wednesday, the OC of West Agartala police station Rana Chatterjee has been transferred as OC of Amtali police station and incumbent OC of Amtali police station Paritosh Das has been transferred as OC of NCC police station.
While, the incumbent of OC Belonia police station, Sanjit Sen has given the charges of new OC of West Agartala police station and incumbent OC of Khowai police station, Krishnadhan Sarkar has been transferred as new OC of East Agartala police station.
The present OC of Baikhora police station, Bishnu Chandra Das has been transferred as OC of Srinagar police station and incumbent OC of Srinagar police station, Arunodaya Das, will now look after the charges of OC of Baikhora police station. The present OC of NCC police station, Prajit Malakar has been transferred as new OC of Khowai police station.
Meanwhile, police Inspector Subimal Barman from West district has given the charges of OC of Belonia police station.
The transfer order by PHQ on Wednesday has also transferred four women police officers including Women Inspector Shipra Bala Chanda transferred from South Tripura to Tripura Police Crime Bureau (TPCB), Inspector Munna Majumder transferred from West Agartala women police station to South Tripura, women Sub-Inspector (SI) Mousumi Datta from TPCB to Bishalgarh women police station and Women SI Ripita Bhattacharjee, from Bishalgarh women police station to West Agartala women police station.
