Amidst election process for Village Committees (VCs) of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), in a minor administrative reshuffle the state police headquarters on Tuesday transferred eight police officers including four Inspectors and 4 more Sub-Inspectors with immediate effect.
An order issued by the police headquarters on Tuesday said that Inspector Subhrangshu Bhattacharjee has been transferred from police headquarters to Tripura Police Crime Branch (TPCB), Inspector Naru Gopal Deb from Sepahijala district to as officer-in-charge (OC) of Airport police station, Inspector Palash Datta from Dhalai district to OC of Kakraban police station and Inspector Prasanta Dey, incumbent OC of Bodhjungnagar police station to the office of the SP, West Tripura district.
Four more police Sub-Inspectors (SIs) including Mrinal Kanti Reang , transferred from Sepahijala district to OC of Bodhjungnagar police station, SI Bonoy Majumder from Dhalai district to Unakoti district, SI Pranab Majumder from Gomati district to Dhalai district and SI Prasenjit Debnath from Sepahijala district to Dhalai district.
