‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ programme resumes: CM orders necessary measures

After a brief break due to the Lok Sabha elections, the “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” programme resumed on Thursday to address woes of common men and provide assistance them. Held at the official residence of Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, the program saw 22 citizens from various parts of the state directly seeking redress to their concerns and grievances.

Additionally, on requests from Namita Bhowmik of Dhaleshwar and Alpana Saha of Jirania regarding social security pensions, immediate action was directed to Social Welfare Department Secretary Tapas Roy. The Chief Minister also assured swift resolution of issues related to land, roads, and shop occupancy by coordinating with the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation.

The proactive approach by the Chief Minister brought confidence and hope to those seeking assistance. Present at the program were Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr P.K Chakraborty, Social Welfare and Social Education Department Secretary Tapas Roy, Additional Secretary of Health Department Brahmit Kaur, GBP Hospital Superintendent Dr Sankar Chakraborty, and Cancer Hospital Superintendent Dr S Debbarma, among others.
