Sensational woman digital content creator Madhavi Biswas again sent to 14-days jail custody
Again on Tuesday after a long hearing at the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (West Tripura) over bail petition by defense team of lawyers for controversial woman digital content creator, Madhavi Biswas , the court sent her again for 14-days jail custody and she will again produce before court on December 8th, 2025 next.
During a long hearing by government advocate Raju Dutta in support of further jail custody appeal before the court to reject her bail petition and defense lawyers and senior advocate Purushottam Roy Barman strongly urged for bail of accused Madhavi Biswas, but court finally, reject the bail petition and sent her for 14-days jail custody.
It may be recalled here that digital content creator, Madhavi Biswas, who has been arrested by Agartala city police on Sunday (October 26) on the charge of spreading obscenity through social media, produced before a local court on Tuesday (November 25) and after two consecutive terms of police remand and two terms of jail custody , the court of CJM of West Tripura district rejecting both bail petition, sent her for 14-days police custody.
Madhavi Biswas became a popular content creator on Facebook for her unique style of slamming ruling BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb on different issues.
Police acting on a complaint lodged by one Paramita Ghosal of Ramnagar, police team raided the house at Jogendranagar area under East Agartala police station on October 26 and arrested her.
Police said that Biswas was accused of spreading obscenity through social media platforms. A case under various provisions of IT and BNS has been lodged against her and investigation is going on for further legal proceedings.
Earlier, a complaint was lodged against her at East Agartala police station last month for slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his brief visit to Mata Tripura Sundari temple. Then, she was detained and questioned by the police and subsequently released.
But, after a complaint lodged by one Paramita Ghosal of Ramnagar, police arrested Mrs Miswas on October 26 under different sections of IT and BNS.
