The Students' Federation of India (SFI), Tripura state committee, on Sunday submitted a deputation to the Director of Higher Education, raising concerns over technical issues affecting the online admission process for degree colleges across the state.
With the admission process currently underway, many students have reportedly been facing difficulties in submitting their online application forms due to frequent server downtime and technical glitches on the admission portal.
The SFI delegation urged the Higher Education Department to take immediate measures to resolve the problems and ensure a smooth admission process for students seeking admission to various degree colleges.
According to SFI representatives, the recurring server issues have caused inconvenience and uncertainty among applicants, prompting the organization to intervene and seek urgent action from the authorities.
Officials of the Higher Education Department informed the delegation that the deadline for submission of online admission forms has been extended by five days to compensate for the disruption caused by the technical problems.
The department has assured that necessary steps are being taken to address the issues and facilitate hassle-free admissions for students across the state.
