Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers has announced the launch of its annual wedding-themed celebration, ‘Shubho Vivaha Utsav’, to be held from November 18 to December 31, 2025, across its showrooms in Agartala, Dharmanagar, Udaipur and the three Kolkata outlets at Gariahat, Behala and Barasat.
Originally introduced in Agartala in 2009, the event has since grown into a signature presentation for the wedding season, also being organized at major housing societies and prominent clubs in Kolkata. The initiative celebrates the essence of the great Indian wedding while offering a range of festive benefits for customers.
This year's edition features an all-new collection of specially designed gold and diamond bridal jewellery, crafted exclusively for the 2025 wedding season. Customers will also have the opportunity to avail attractive offers and participate in lucky draws.
A special preview of the collection was held on Friday in Agartala, where film actress Prantika Das—a rising star in Bengali, Hindi and Telugu films—made a guest appearance adorned in designer gold and diamond jewellery, unveiling the first look of this year’s collection.
In a press statement, Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers informed that regular customer-friendly services such as Old Gold Exchange Facility, 100% Gold Value Return on all hallmarked ornaments purchased from any jeweller, and the Sonay Sohaga special discount scheme will continue during the Utsav.
Directors Arpita Saha and Rupak Saha highlighted the attractions planned for this year, while Swarnendu Ghosh, Director of Search Route Vacations, shared details about their partnership with the event.
“I am very happy to be part of this wonderful presentation and thank Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers for inviting me,” said Prantika Das. “I extend my greetings to the people of Tripura and wish them a wonderful wedding season.”
Swarnendu Ghosh added, “We are glad to associate with Shubho Vivaha Utsav and wish customers the best of luck in winning the honeymoon packages that promise to be enjoyable and memorable.”
Speaking about the long journey of the event, Director Arpita Saha said, “Marriages are at the core of who we are, and we have always romanticised the great Indian wedding. Thanks to customer support, Shubho Vivaha Utsav is now in its nineteenth year.”
Rupak Saha further announced that this year’s Utsav will feature three fortnightly lucky draws offering honeymoon packages to Shimla, Jaipur and Goa, along with a mega draw for a honeymoon trip to Phuket, Thailand.
