TBJEE results, Dipjoy Das tops in PCM, Ananya Debnath tops PCB merit list

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) on Tuesday declared its results of the year-2025 and the boy students outshine the girls in top positions of merit list for both PCM and PCB groups.
TBJEE chairman Dr Subhadip Paul along with board secretary Dr Pritwijyoti Bhowmik and board member Prof. Sanjoy Mitra declared the results at the conference hall of ‘Shiksha Bhavan’ in Agartala on Tuesday afternoon and as per the merit list, three top positions in the PCM group secured by two boys and a girl and the three top positions of PCB groups were also secured two boys and a girl student.
Giving details of the abstract of the results, Dr Paul said that a total of 5,296 students enrolled in the examinations in the both groups for Engineering, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical and other Professional Technological Degree Courses against available seats from Central Pool as well as reserved seats for the state of Tripura.
Among them 2,248 students appeared in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic (PCM) group and 4,652 more students appeared from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group. Ananya Debnath of Sri Krishna Mission School of Agartala got the first position of the common merit list in PCB group, and the second position of the merit list secured by Saptadip Pal of Sishu Bihar School of Agartala and the third position in PCB group secured by Debaprasad Saha of Sri Krishna Mission School of Agartala.
In the PCM group, top position of the merit list was secured by Dipjoy Das of Jahawar Navodaya Vidyalaya of North Tripura, second position got by Trisrota Das of Hindi HS School, Agartala and the third position of the PCM group secured by Arnab Nath of Jahawar Navodaya Vidyalaya of Kherengjuri, North Tripura .
Dr Paul said that examinations were conducted on April 23rd in 15 centres across the state and this year more girl candidates appeared in the examinations in comparison to boys.
Dr Paul said that TBJEE will conduct the online counseling for the distribution of available seats in different professional courses among the eligible candidates based on the common merit list.
The online counseling registration will commence from after next seven days through the website of the board and all appeared candidates must go through the online registration for online counseling, said Dr Paul.
During the online counseling process, the board shall allocate the seat of candidate’s choice in order of merit position of common merit list from PCB and PCM groups separately, said Dr Paul. He also added that after allotment, candidates have to download a selection letter and showing this to the concerned department they can collect nomination letters to precede the concerned institute for admission.
