Two students from Manipur, mentored by Assam Rifles are participating in various events of World Mental Health Week being organised at Rashtriya Raksha University, Gujarat. The World Mental Health Week aims to provide psychological support, enhance awareness of mental health issues, and promote overall emotional resilience among students. The participation in the event highlights the role played by Assam Rifles in deradicalisation of youth and maintaining mental health of students in conflict-hit Manipur.
During the five-day program at Rashtriya Raksha University, participants will engage in various interactive sessions, workshops, and counselling sessions aimed at development of mental health. The curriculum is designed to address the unique challenges faced by students growing up in conflict zones, with a focus on resilience-building, emotional intelligence, and peer support. The exposure would also lead to awareness about different fields of higher education in various educational institutions.
Assam Rifles remains committed to not only maintaining peace and security in the northeastern region but also empowering its people through educational, health, and community outreach programs.
