Pakistan: Police officer, friend gangrape class 10 student
A police officer and his friend gang-raped a class 10 student who was trying to release her father from custody in Pakistan's Kot Momin region, media reports said.
The suspects reportedly left the girl in critical condition infornt of her aunt's house and fled.
As per the first information report (FIR) lodged by the victim with Kot Momin Police, her father was arrested by the Kot Momin Police Station in a fake case of hashish, reported Dawn News.
A man who claimed to be a friend of an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) posted at the police station called her to clarify the position of her father, saying that he would be released if she could prove his innocence, the Pakistani newspaper reported.
She said she was going to the police station when the ASI and his friend kidnapped her in a car.
They forcibly took her to a house in Nizamabad.
The victim alleged that she was gang-raped by them at gunpoint.
An investigation team has been formed.
