Assam Rifles seized Heroin worth of Rs. 2.94 cr, detained a drug paddler from Cachar

Assam Rifles seized 420.57 grams of Heroin worth Rs 2.94 crore from general areas Haokip Punji, under Jirighat police station of Cachar district, Assam on Wednesday.
Assam Rifles through a press statement said that based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and Jirighat police station. The team seized 420.57 grams Heroin worth approx Rs 2.94 crore and apprehended one drug peddler. Seized contents and apprehended drug peddler were handed over to Jirighat police station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
