Actor Amar Talwar shares throwback images of Shah Rukh Khan before he became Bollywood superstar
Actor Amar Talwar on Friday walked down memory lane and shared throwback images of Shah Rukh Khan from a period when he had not yet attained the superstar status.
Sharing the images on Instagram, Talwar said he had clicked Khan's pictures around 1990, a decade which saw the 'Dil Se' actor putting up a strong show in numerous hit Bollywood movies.
Talwar perfectly described his emotions with his heart-touching caption on Instagram that read: "Going through my old pics, came across these i'd clicked of Shahrukh Khan with my son, Tally, around 1990, before his departure for Bollywood."
Talwar said he acted with Khan in a few Barry John's Theatre Action Group's plays before he moved to Bollywood.
"Shahrukh and i had acted in a couple of TAG (Barry John's Theatre Action Group) plays together - 'Rough Crossing' and 'Who's Life Is It Anyway' and then in a third play, 'Lend Me A Tenor' Barry cast me in the role he wanted Shahrukh to play but by then Shahrukh had left for Mumbai, Bollywood...and the rest is history - i guess!" he wrote.
Who is Amar Talwar?
Amar Talwar is known for acting in several Hindi serials and few Bollywood movies in his career.
He appeared in the historic television series Shanti, in which he played Raj 'G.J.' Singh.
