Alia Bhatt takes 'quick break' from Love & War shoot to celebrate Sanjay Leela Bhansali's birthday, Ranbir and Vicky join in
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood star Alia Bhatt took a "quick break" from the shooting of her upcoming film, Love & War, to celebrate ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 62nd birthday.
Alia, her husband Ranbir Kapoor and actor Vicky Kaushal- all three in Bhansali's Love & War lead cast- were present at the director's birthday celebration.
Alia, who was directed by Bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi that earned her maiden National Film Award, also seized the opportunity to congratulate Vicky for the success of his recent film, Chhaava.
The 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' actress wrote on Instagram, "A quick break from night shoots to celebrate our director. Happy birthday magician sir (and happy 3 to our Gangu too) & lastly many many cheers and claps for @vickykaushal09 absolutely smashing the box office with chhaava!!! Chalo abhi party over … back to shoot."
Meanwhile, Love & War will reunite Alia with Ranbir as well as Vicky on-screen.
Ranbir and Alia had earlier featured in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. Vicky and Alia were paired with each other in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi.
Ranbir made his Bollywood debut way back in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya.
