Ayushmann Khurrana, Kamal Haasan, Ariana Grande among the artistes invited to join The Academy
Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, veteran Tamil actor Kamal Haasan, American singer-actress Ariana Grande are among the artistes who have been invited to join The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars) this year.
“We are thrilled to invite this esteemed class of artists, technologists, and professionals to join the Academy,” said Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang.
“Through their commitment to filmmaking and to the greater movie industry, these exceptionally talented individuals have made indelible contributions to our global filmmaking community.”
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited distinguished artists from across the world for their contributions to motion pictures and cinema.
The list also includes Gillian Anderson, Kamal Haasan, Mikey Madison, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, to name a few.
Ayushmann has been honored twice by TIME Magazine - for the haloed TIME100 Impact Award 2023 and iconic TIME100 list in which he was chosen to be amongst the 100 Most Influential People of the World! Ayushmann is also the UNICEF India Ambassador who works tirelessly for child rights protection.
