Deepika Padukone becomes first Indian to receive a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame becoming the first Indian to get such an honour.
Deepika, a massively popular actress in India, has been named in the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 list.
The names have been selected from five categories- motion picture, television, live theatre and live performance, recording and sports entertainment.
Deepika features in the list where international icons like Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothee Chalamet, Rami Malek et al are named.
"Gratitude," wrote Deepika in an Instagram story after she was named.

The 39-year-old Indian actress made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with XXX: Return of Xander Cage where she starred alongside Vin Diesel.
Deepika, who was on a break from films after embracing motherhood last year, is soon to return to films.
The actress, who has been a part of multiple box office super hits over the years, will feature in Shah Rukh Khan starrer King as well as pair up with Allu Arjun for the first time in Atlee's AA22xA6
