Deepika Padukone scripts history becoming the first Indian jury member for prestigious Louis Vuitton Prize 2025
Paris/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone created yet another history by becoming the first Indian jury member for the prestigious Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy Prize 2025 held in Paris on Wednesday.
Deepika, a massively popular Hindi film actress, is the global ambassador for the brand, which is one of the world's most iconic luxury fashion houses, part of the French conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton).
Her appearance was talked about not just for the role but for her fashion statements too.
Deepika wore an oversized silk shirt in abstract prints of yellow and brown, paired with a golden mini skirt featuring floor-grazing fringes that added movement and drama to her look.
She accessorised this bold outfit with golden stud earrings, sleek high heels, a classic black handbag, and neatly tied-up hair in a bun. The makeup was balanced and elegant—contoured cheeks, winged eyeliner, soft brown eyeshadow, and a muted deep-nude lip.
She dropped a set of pictures from the event on her social media.
The 39-year-old wrote on Instagram, "Congratulations to all the winners!I cannot wait for the world to witness your magic!"
On the work front, Deepika, who is yet to return to work since embracing motherhood, will collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan for the sixth time in Siddharth Anand's next, King.
The previous five collaborations were Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan and Jawan.
Besides King, which also features SRK's daughter Suhana Khan, Deepika will team up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun for the first time on-screen for Atlee's AA22xA6.
