Dua Lipa confirms engagement to actor Callum Turner
British singing sensation Dua Lipa has confirmed that she is engaged to actor Callum Turner.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” Lipa told British Vogue.
Lipa said taking the decision to marry Turney remains a 'special feeling'.
“It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling," she said.
The pair began dating last year.
They have not set a marriage date so far.
Dua Lipa sparked off engagement rumours when she posted pictures of herself wearing a ring last year.
Lipa said Turner custom-made the ring by consulting with her best friends and sister Rina.
She said: "It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
Lipa said they are currently enjoying the moment.
“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” she said.
Dua Lipa is an English and Albanian singer, songwriter and actress. Her accolades include seven Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards.
She released her eponymous debut album in 2017, which peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned the singles "Be the One", "IDGAF", and the UK number-one single "New Rules".
