Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail, the 64-year-old actor explained, “I’ve been trying to go the route Paul Newman did — ‘Okay, well, I’m not kissing a girl anymore.’”

He added that turning 60 prompted him to reflect on both his personal and professional future, influencing his decision to present himself differently on screen.

Clooney, a globally renowned actor, filmmaker, and humanitarian, rose to fame in the 1990s with his role as Dr. Doug Ross on the TV series ER.

He later became a major Hollywood star with films such as Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, Ocean’s Thirteen, Michael Clayton, The Descendants, and Gravity.

Beyond acting, Clooney is an accomplished director and producer, winning Academy Awards for both acting (Syriana, Best Supporting Actor) and producing (Argo).

He is also known for his activism and humanitarian efforts, particularly in Darfur and global human rights causes. Additionally, he co-founded Casamigos Tequila, which he later sold for a substantial sum.
